Condition Grades

Honest, simple grading.

We use three condition grades plus a Significantly Damaged / Parts category. Choose the grade that best matches your device — we'll confirm everything on inspection.

Grade A

Mint, like new

The device must be in immaculate condition with no visible marks, scratches, cracks or dents. It must work perfectly and meet the battery requirements below.

No marks or scratches at all
No cracks or dents
Fully working with no faults
Battery health must be 100% (where applicable)
Fewer than 10 battery charge cycles (where applicable)
Unlocked where relevant
Original box and accessories included where applicable

If the battery health is below 100% or the device has 10 or more charge cycles, it will not qualify as Grade A.

Grade B

Boxed, used

A fully working used device in excellent condition. It may have very light signs of normal use, but it must have no cracks, dents or functional faults.

Battery health between 80% and 100% (where applicable)
Between 100 and 300 charge cycles (where applicable)
Unlocked where relevant

Grade C

Used, working

The device works correctly but may show reasonable signs of wear or cosmetic damage. Acceptable examples include visible scratches, scuffs or marks, small dents, minor cracks that do not affect normal use, and general cosmetic wear.

Device must still work correctly
Main functions must operate normally
Damage must be reasonable and must not make the device unsafe or unusable

Significant damage may mean the device is valued for parts rather than as Grade C.

Manual quote required

Devices with major structural or functional damage require a manual quote and may be purchased for parts only.
